I attended the Great North Swim at Lake Windermere this weekend. My daughter got chatting to the women at the Paddlers for Life stall, and when she admired a dragon charm they had, they gave it to her. I was unable to make a donation as I had left all my valuables in the car while I was swimming, and I was really touched by their kindness. So thank you, kind ladies! Nancy is thrilled with her dragon charm and has taken it to school today to show the class.

Love the idea that the same March daffodil postcard went from me to my friend Brenda then across the water to France to Barbara spreading dragon boating and beast cancer survivorship.

we received the postcards from Barb Daniel, our aunt in England. My mother, Barb's sister, was a dragonboater in Canada until her death in 2006. A lovely postcard and it is always inspiring to hear of other cancer survivors and dragonboaters.
